Daughters are father’s favorites. I think no one would disagree when it comes to that special bond between father and child. A father is the first male influence and role model in a child’s life. He is both protector and spoiler. Memories abound on father-daughter bonding – whether it’s just a simple game of hopscotch, an ice cream date, walks on the beach, a storybook before bedtime. And those memories are etched in our minds even as we grow up.

4-year old Alison Curry was one of those who may be considered ‘daddy’s little girl’. And father Philip, a US Air Force member stationed near Norwich, England is the supportive dad. Distance cannot and would not affect the bond and love between them. It is almost like they were never apart. Dad Philip always encouraged Alison on what she wants to be and do. And ballet is one of Alison’s passion. It is something that the little girl takes seriously.

At the Brandon School of Dance, there’s a the much anticipated ‘Bring a Family Member to Dance Event’. And Dad Philip cannot miss out on the opportunity to dance alongside his daughter. So he came and danced his heart out, waving a pink wand.

The unusual father-daughter dance (unusual being Dad much more enthusiastic than his girl hehehehe) sent shivers of joy and love to those who saw it. And Jessica, Alison’s mom radiates pride on the father-daughter bond. Every turn , every step depicts pride, comfort, encouragement, reassurance , love – an everlasting love.
