One of the sweetest and most memorable moments you ever experience is when a long anticipated grandchild meets grandma and grandpa for the first time. Seems that the grandbabies can’t really figure out what the fuss is all about, but the reaction of the grandparents is priceless.

Thinking back, I can remember that moment I held my first child. My whole world changed. She was so tiny, sweet, helpless and precious. I had no idea what the journey would bring as she entered our home. But I did feel a sweet spirit that I had never felt before.

Now, I wish I had invested a little more time in recording and preserving the cherished moments. Watching the reactions captured here causes a rush of memories, tender moments that remind me of the wonderful times we have had. These memories have a significant impact on the most pleasant experiences of my life.

Then when she brought me her first child, well, I have to say that the feelings were just as special, perhaps even deeper, because of the experiences we have shared. There is nothing, I repeat, nothing like holding a new baby and realizing what a special gift each one is.
